If you have questions please feel free to contact us. We will get back to you as soon as we can.
Q: Is this a women-only event? A: Absolutely not! Bring your men! Breast cancer doesn't discriminate, neither do we. In fact, the unfortunate truth, according to the Canadian Cancer Society, is that about 1% of breast cancer cases diagnosed will be found in men. Also, it has been our observation that a lot of men enjoy breasts. Many would be happy to come have a good time to help keep them healthy. Q: Do I have to dress up? A: You look so nice dressed up! Why wouldn't you? The answer is that we'd like to give Mardi-Bras a special sense of class and occasion by asking that our guests dress up. If you feel you can better fight cancer in your jeans, shorts, bathing suit, Batman costume, whatever, we will certainly not turn you away at the door. Q: How many people can I invite? A: The room we have booked at the Gladstone can accommodate 200 people. We will keep selling tickets until we run out so invite as many as you want, but to insure you all get in, contact us in advance for ticket reservations. Q: Is this an all-ages event? A: Sorry, no. This is a licensed event so we need you to be 19 or older. Q: Where do I park?
A: If you are driving, please click here to find parking nearby the Gladstone. If you are taking the TTC to the Gladstone, the 29 Dufferin bus - which runs quite frequently - goes right by the venue, taking you to and from the Bloor-Danforth subway line at Dufferin Station. If you are travelling from the east or the west and taking the TTC, the 501 Queen streetcar runs all the way from Neville Park Loop in the east to Long Branch Loop in the west. Double check the TTC website for details. The Gladstone is at the corner of Gladstone Avenue and Queen Street, just east of Dufferin Street.
